Dr. Laura (Ellie) Porath

My research work encompasses soft materials and polymer chemistry with a focus on the rheological characteristics. I am particularly interested in materials design for adaptability and multifunctional use, as well as answering particular problems, such as biofilm removal. My laboratory will pursue soft materials based on dynamic chemistry for applications that benefit from thorough rheological analysis and that can improve society to mitigate climate change and increase sustainability.
